As the digital media manager for Margin Walker Presents I oversaw social media strategy for over 500+ shows, including the 37th Austin Music Awards and Eso Es Festival, managed up to five accounts, and supervised the marketing internship. Additionally, I assisted with email newsletters, Facebook advertising, influencer outreach, and,

 

BBQ BUNDLE

BBQ Bundle was a summer promotional giveaway I devised to increase brand awareness and connect with our followers. To incentivize participation, a merch bundle was coordinated for high demand shows along with donations from Austin Motel and Yellowbird. Overall, the campaign was a success. We saw an increase in social media traffic, high engagement on posts, and hundreds of entries.

AuStin MUSIC AWARDS

I managed social media platforms and implemented digital marketing strategy for the 37th Austin Music Awards. Previously, social media wasn’t fully utilized. Accounts were inconsistent and lacked cohesion. My main role was to rebuild social platforms, increase page followers and exposure, create content to push sales, and to create content showcasing event history.

 

 

MAC DEMARCO CAMPAIGN

Mac Demarco at The Long Center was one of our biggest show of the year and required an agressive marketing campaign to reach sales goals. Since Demarco frequently toured through Texas, I proposed that we call the campaign “Return of the Mac”, a reference to the Mack Morrison song. Strategies included a Scavenger hunt for (mainly) college students, Road Trip Giveaways for out-of-towners, collaborating with local influencers, and creating shareable content.

¡Eso ES! CaMpaign

¡Eso Es! was a touring mini-festival showcasing Latinx acts and artists. I was a key player in visualizing the event, sorting talent, branding, and booking vendors. I also launched and managed all our social media platforms. All the platforms were new, so a robust social media strategy was implemented. I communicated with influencers, artists, and other relevant promoters to help push content and spread awareness of the event.
